Subprocessors
BookByOnline uses the trusted providers below to operate the Platform. Each is engaged under data-protection terms and processes personal data only to deliver its service. We update this list as our infrastructure changes.
Supabase — database & authentication
Purpose: primary database, authentication and file storage for the Platform. Data: account, business, booking, customer and configuration data. Data location: cloud regions selected for the service; international transfers covered by appropriate safeguards.
Stripe — payments
Purpose: processing deposits and online payments and related fraud checks. Data: payer name, contact details, payment amounts and transaction metadata. Card data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS; BookByOnline does not store full card numbers.
Vercel — hosting & delivery
Purpose: hosting the application, edge routing, custom-domain TLS and content delivery. Data: request metadata and any data transmitted while serving the application.
Google — sign-in & maps
Purpose: Google sign-in and address/maps autocomplete. Data: authentication identifiers for users who choose Google sign-in, and address queries for the maps feature.
Microsoft — sign-in
Purpose: Microsoft sign-in for users who choose it. Data: authentication identifiers necessary to complete sign-in.
Resend — transactional & marketing email
Purpose: sending verification, booking, notification and (where enabled) marketing emails. Data: recipient email address and message content.
SMS provider — text notifications
Purpose: sending booking and reminder SMS where enabled by a Merchant. Data: recipient phone number and message content. Engaged when SMS features are activated.
Analytics provider — product analytics
Purpose: aggregated, consent-based usage analytics to improve the product. Data: pseudonymous usage events and device/browser metadata, loaded only where analytics cookies are allowed.
Changes & notice
We give notice of new or replacement subprocessors as described in our DPA, and Merchants may raise reasonable objections. Contact privacy@bookbyonline.com to be notified of changes.
